INTERVIEW WITH A KILLER is a new Court TV original documentary series and an entirely new kind of crime show. It takes viewers into high-security prisons across the country and directly inside the minds of 10 convicted murderers. Hosted by investigative reporter David Scott (ABC News), the show engages and confronts the killers themselves with in-depth interviews that allow the audience to look into the eyes of men and women who have committed the ultimate betrayal of humanity: murder.

Each of these notorious cases is examined in depth, and each killer takes center stage, facing intensive questioning to explore the mindset and motives that led to murder. Forensic experts and other extraordinary voices of justice bring these cases and killers into sharp focus, and pay tribute to their tragic victims and survivors.

Every hour-long episode focuses on one homicide case and convict, framed by a different central theme. From a recently convicted serial killer in Alaska with a double life, to the so-called “honor killing” of two teenage girls by their father, to the parricidal killing of two parents by their troubled teenage son, the series offers searing new insight into a range of fascinating and terrifying cases and their consequences.

A first season of five episodes will premiere in the U.S. on Sunday, October 20 at 8 pm ET, followed by the second five episodes in early 2025.
