Critics Choice Awards 2026

It is said to historically be the most accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations, which are announced a week after the Critics Choice Awards. The ceremony will be held in January 2026 - date, time and venue to be confirmed.
The event will be lived streamed by E! and encored on Peacock the following day. The Critics Choice Association, the largest critics organization in the U.S. and Canada, oversees voting and consists of over 600 media critics and journalists. It was established in 2019 with the formal merger of the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, recognizing the intersection between film, television, and streaming content.
