Critics Choice Awards 2027
The 32nd Annual Critics Choice Awards
Live from Barker Hangar, Santa Monica | Sunday, January 3, 2027
Rainmaker Content is thrilled to present international licensing availability for one of the global entertainment calendar’s premier red-carpet events. As the definitive event that kicks off the conversation about the year's best work, the 2027 ceremony will be hosted by two-time Critics Choice Award winner and five-time Emmy® nominee Janelle James (Abbott Elementary), bringing unbeatable star power, sharp comedic talent, and Hollywood’s finest to screen entertainment worldwide.
As prestige award shows increasingly transition away from traditional television, the Critics Choice Awards remains a true linear television event. It preserves the classic, shared prime-time broadcast experience while combining top-tier celebrity power, red-carpet glamour, and rare live-event ratings strength. Returning to E! for the third consecutive year and USA Network for the second, the star-studded show continues its combined film, television, and streaming format to honour the absolute best achievements of the year.
The telecast will air live on both coasts from 7:00–10:00 p.m. ET / 4:00–7:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, January 3, 2027. Official film and television nominations will be announced on Friday, December 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT by Live across linear channels and official digital platforms.
This marquee telecast offers international channels and platform partners an unmatched flagship spectacle to open 2027.
